Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your account and personal data — and exactly what happens when you do.

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Your right to deletion

You can ask us to delete your EventDeck account and the personal data attached to it at any time. You don't need to give a reason, and the process is free.

How to request it

  • Email support@eventdeck.app from the email address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request", or
  • Start a chat from the Help Center and ask for account deletion.

We'll verify the request came from you — usually by confirming a code sent to your account email — and complete the deletion within 30 days. You'll get a confirmation email when it's done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, profile details, and sign-in credentials.
  • Saved events, preferences, and support conversation history.
  • Vendor or organizer profile content you've uploaded.

What we have to keep

Financial records — orders, refunds, payouts, and their ledger entries — must be retained for the period accounting and tax law requires. Where we keep those records, we anonymize them: they stop being linked to you as a person and are kept only as transaction history.

If you have an upcoming event with sold tickets or an unsettled payout, we'll complete or wind down those obligations before the account itself is removed.

What deletion means in practice

Once deletion completes, you can no longer sign in, your tickets and history are unrecoverable, and any remaining anonymized records can't be traced back to you. If you return to EventDeck later, you'll be starting fresh with a new account.
